So, some current "it" colors for interior design are indigo/navy/denim blues, pinks (think carnation and bubble gum shades), and various shades of purples/plums. As we are (hopefully) moving this summer, I've been DYING to redecorate, but I am so disappointed with these color trends. They just do *not* work with my aesthetic. Sadness. Guess our new house won't be super trendy. :(
Don't get me wrong, I LOVE purple. And pink is super fun, but my husband would sooooooooooo not go for that. Everyone loves a good blue, but this pallet is just not motivating me, despite the Versailles tie-ins available.
Here's what I'm feeling- fern green, muted aqua, mustard yellow, and various grays and whites. I know they are pretty much "over" as far as trending goes, but I really like them and never got the chance to try them out!
Opinions/Thoughts?
Also, I designed a crafting table last night when I was bored. Now all I need to do is find someone to build it, hah!
