Just, No.

Ok, I'm not going to lie.  I'm stealing this from Refinery29.  This morning, waiting for me in my email, was a newsletter containing this article.

Hell.  No.

Look, I get that in fashion, it's all about trends/new/different/pushing the envelope/blah blah blah.  But this, well, this is just bad.  Straight up bad.  Worse than the new men's monokinis and crop tops.  Just bad. I'm labeling them "saggy butt pants" with a big firm "NO".

An Apple a Day...

I'm pretty sure if I could spend time lounging in this chair all day, I'd have no need for doctors...

You Can Never Have Too Many Shelves!

If you know me at all- you know I'm *obsessed* with good organization.  And these necessitates great shelving.  So imagine my sheer and utter delight in stumbling across this photo on homedesignfind.com!  Swoon!

But can you imagine trying to keep them dusted???

Tile Time!

Most of you know, I recently, with the help of some *awesome* friends, retiled the backsplash in my kitchen.  Ok, "recently" really means almost a year ago- wow.  I hadn't realized it has been that long!  Nearly nine months I thinks.  Anyway, I'll show you a couple of pics of our before/after handiwork, but it's not nearly as awesome as some of the tiles here.

Before: pink ceramic tiles - ugh.

After: much better!

Still need to replace the countertops though...

Okay, so the point of this entry is not to go on and on about my own handiwork, but rather to drool over others, namely Petracer's.  I am absolutely in love with this "Capitonne" tile.

This one, shown in chocolate and blue on the floor, is called "Tango."

Voila "Rinascimento" - even used as a headboard!

And their "GE Gold" standard... not sure how I feel about this one.  Thoughts?
With that said, it is *stunning* in this bathroom around the tub... you guys *know* I flipped out when I saw this one... Sigh.

"Ad Personam" - soooo pretty!  It doesn't even look like tile! Comes in black and white!

Sweet Showers

How simply adorable are these shower enclosures from Antonio Lupi???  So romantic!

I'm also a big fan of this print, because it becomes a plaid when you slide it open- so clever!

They also have numbers and letters- you could do your initials!

Bright Blooms

Um, can I tell you how much I love lamps shaped like flowers?  Or at least the ones done well?  They can be so elegant and classy!  Here are a few I found online today.  Enjoy!

Kelly Bundy Rockin' It Back in 1988...

So I was watching Married...With Children on Netflix the other day, and the ditzy sister Kelly waltzed on set in this super stylish getup- knee high camel boots, with a complimenting vest.  Just thought I'd share!  Also, remember last Fall's big push for military inspired clothes?  Looks like Kelly was way ahead of her time, if only she'd have found some decent leggings to pair her top with!
